Jess Glynne regresa con 'Silly Me': "Estos últimos 3 años han sido los más difíciles para mí"

Tras una carta abierta en la que explicaba el por qué de su ausencia, la británica trae nueva canción que, dicho sea de paso, vale de confirmación y reproche de no haber estado acertada. O dicho en sus propias palabras, "Oh-oh, oh -ay, tonta, tonta de mí".

Recordemos que Glynne es la primera solista británica en tener siete sencillos número uno en la lista de sencillos del Reino Unido. Saltó a la fama como artista destacada en sencillos como 'Rather Be' de Clean Bandit, 'My Love' de Route 94 y más recientemente en 'These Days' de Rudimental con Macklemore. También fue considerada una de las "Personas menores de 30 años más influyentes" por la revista Forbes en 2019.

'Silly Me'

Jess Glynne tomaba papel y boli para hacernos llegar sus sentimientos porque había tomado un descanso que más bien parecía una auténtica desaparición. Antes de leer esa carta y escuchar la nueva canción digamos que ésta ofrece lo que sería su mejor versión tras haberse topado con la inspiración creativa.

La carta manuscrita, su explicación

En esa carta dice que quiere volver a presentarse: "Ha pasado un tiempo y muchas cosas han cambiado. En 2021 perdí a un amigo de una manera realmente trágica y ha cambiado la forma en que veo y siento la vida".

En esas tres páginas dice que era profundamente infeliz y que perdió el rumbo profesional por lo que tomó "La decisión de alejarme de toda esa negatividad y comenzar de nuevo porque vi cómo corta es la vida y lo importante que es cuidarse uno mismo".

En síntesis, destaca que estos últimos 3 años han sido los más difíciles "Para mí emocional y físicamente, pero siento que me han convertido en la mejor versión de mí misma".
