El equipo de fútbol cantaba 'Your Song' mientras se fotografiaban junto a su autor. Pero, además, cambiaban la letra de la canción: "Y puedes decirles a todos, Hemos ganado la Copa FA".

Elton John había estado actuando en Manchester a principios de semana, tocando tres noches en la ciudad, una de las cuales contó con la presencia del técnico del Manchester City, Pep Guardiola.

Era un partido en el que el Manchester United no pudo superar a Manchester City y cerró la temporada con una caída en Wembley. En la tarde del sábado pasado, el conjunto de Erik ten Hag perdía 2-1 ante el equipo de Pep Guardiola en Londres. Ahí se alzaba con el triunfo el vigente campeón de la Premier League. A diferencia de lo ocurrido a principios de octubre en el Eithad Stadium, los Red Devils presentaron un juego mucho más ordenado y serio pero la superioridad del rival fue patente.

Y la fiesta se cerraba con el encuentro del cantante con el Manchester City.
